Khao Lak is located in the Phang Nga Province in the southwest of Thailand about 70 kilometers north of Phuket Island. Ranong lies about 190 miles north and Krabi is 160 km southeast of Khao Lak.
The beautiful Phang Nga Bay is just 60 km away to the southeast. This stunning part of nature offers many new, interesting and beautiful plants.
The white sandy beaches around Khao Lak invite you and your whole family for a swim or to enjoy a romantic sunset over the Andaman Sea.
Behind Khao Lak there are hills rise covered with a picturesquely beautiful rainforest.
You can also explore the waterfalls nearby. Due to the high rainfall during the monsoon, the waterfalls carry heavy amounts of water between May and December.
Even during the dry season they don’t run dry and are still worth a visit.
